I had a chance to briefly check out the new features in Dialogue Isolate and Ambience Match, and was really impressed with the results. That means you can apply RX spectral editing while inside of Logic and no longer need to go back and forth between the two applications. Logic users will be happy to hear that they can open RX’s Spectral Editor from within the DAW as an ARA extension. What’s more, iZotope expanded that list to 30 steps. Other new features in RX 9 (all versions) include Restore Selection, which lets you keep your selection while stepping backward in the History list. According to iZotope, the process allows you to remove all sorts of hum more efficiently, including RF interference, camera hum and more.
